The CEP is a 501(c)6 non-profit corporation in the State of Florida and is incorporated as the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce, Inc, with registered DBA of the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership and the Belleview Chamber & Economic Partnership.
The CEP was named the ACCE national Chamber of the Year in 2020. The organization also being a finalist for the industry's top award in 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2025. This is the most prestigious and competitive recognition presented annually by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
The Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership is recognized as the 2018 & 2025 Chamber of the Year by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals. Each Year the FACP recognizes Florida’s top chambers of commerce throughout the state for their outstanding achievement and precedence within the area of communications.
This recognition celebrates our team, partners, and community for driving forward a bold vision of growth and innovation in the Ocala Metro.
Over the past few years the CEP has:
• Led efforts to secure $1.7B in local infrastructure and education funding through two major tax referendums.
• Announced over 3,400 new jobs and $1.2B in private investment across diverse industries.
• Expanded entrepreneurial access with the Power Plant Business Incubator and the IMPACT Initiative.
• Reestablished a presence in South Marion through the Belleview CEP.
• Launched the Ocala Metro Catalyst Fund - a community-based financial vehicle designed to expand access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs.
