Real Truck Locates New Headquarters in Ocala

Ocala, Florida (Sept. 24, 2018) – The Ocala/ Marion County Chamber &Economic Partnership is pleased to announce that Real Truck, an online truck accessory retailer announced Ocala will become its future global headquarter location. The company plans to create 77 new, high- wage jobs, and a capital investment of $2 million dollars.

“Ocala is a business-friendly fit for the RealTruck headquarters. The area has great talent and innovation,” says Tracy Harper Jr., Executive Vice President for RealTruck. “This is an exciting time for our company and we hope to continue our great partnerships with the CEP, city, and county as we grow our presence in the community.”

The CEP partnered with the City of Ocala, Marion County, and CareerSource CLM to make the Realtruck announcement a reality. 

“We are excited to welcome Real Truck to Ocala/Marion County,” said Matt Wardell, Ocala City Council President. “This is a great opportunity for our community and we look forward to the growth and economic impacts this will provide for Ocala.”

The new headquarters will occupy 19,000 square feet in the Market Street at Heath Brook shopping center. They plan to begin construction before 2019 and have already started the hiring process. 

The Ocala/Marion County Chamber and Economic Partnership was created to be a one-stop hub for the community’s business attraction, creation and retention efforts. The CEP’s mission is to be THE catalyst for a prosperous community. The Moving Forward plan seeks to impact the creation of 4500 new jobs with wages 15% above the county average and resulting in a capital investment of $400 million by 2022.
