In accordance with the requirements of Section 189.417 Florida Statutes, and for the purposes of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Marion County Industrial Development Authority (the “Authority”) will hold a public meeting on May 15, 2019 beginning at 1:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the CEP Boardroom at the offices of the Ocala/Marion County Chamber and Economic Partnership, located at 310 SE 3rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34471 for the following purposes:
1. Conducting a public hearing with respect to the proposed issuance and sale of the Authority’s Manufacturing Revenue Bonds (Fidelity Manufacturing LLC) Series 2019 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. The proceeds of such bond issue would be loaned by the Authority to Fidelity Manufacturing LLC, a Florida limited liability company, and/or an affiliate, subsidiary, or related entity thereof (the “Borrower”) and used for the purpose of financing and/or refinancing the acquisition, improvement, and equipping of one or more facilities located at 1101 SW 37th Ave. Ocala, FL 34474, and 1900 NE 25th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34470, to be used as manufacturing facilities to manufacture diesel tanks, trailers, stairs and platforms, and enclosures for diesel generators (the “Project”). The Project is owned and/or operated by the Borrower or an affiliate, subsidiary, or related entity thereof.
2. Considering approving and authorizing such actions by the Authority as may be necessary and appropriate in connection with the proposed issuance and sale of the above referenced bonds.
3. Considering such other matters as may be properly brought before the Authority.
All interested or affected taxpayers, property owners and citizens of Marion County, Florida, are invited to attend, either personally or through their representatives, and will be given opportunity to express their views concerning the matters addressed during the time provided for public comment. Anyone desiring to make written comments may file them with the Marion County Industrial Development Authority, c/o Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership, 310 SE Third Street, Ocala, Florida 34471. Comments made at the meeting are for the consideration of the Authority and will not bind the Authority as to any action it may take. SHOULD ANY PERSON DECIDE TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE AUTHORITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH MEETING, SUCH PERSON WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND, FOR THAT PURPOSE, SUCH PERSON MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDING IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
