Marion County Business Owners Invited to Groundbreaking Lender Matchmaking Event

Ocala, FL (May 8, 2025) — The Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) is proud to present the inaugural OMCF (Ocala Metro Catalyst Fund) Lender Matchmaking Event, a first-of-its-kind opportunity for Marion County entrepreneurs and small business owners to connect directly with a wide range traditional lenders, Credit Unions, CDC, CDFI and financial experts. 

Set for May 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place, this dynamic event is designed to help local businesses access the capital and guidance they need to grow and thrive. Whether you're launching a new venture or scaling an existing business, this event will provide the tools and connections to support your next big step. 

Attendees will hear from industry leaders including Gayle Hoshstrasser, Regional Sales Manager at Florida First Capital Financial Corporation, and Ed Ramos, Senior Area Manager with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Both keynote speakers bring a wealth of knowledge about small business financing and will share strategies to successfully navigate Florida’s lending landscape. 

Following the keynote, a panel discussion will feature insights on how businesses can strengthen their financial position and become more bankable in the eyes of lenders.
