The Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) Ambassador Program promotes awareness about CEP benefits and services while encouraging partners to become more involved in the organization. Ambassadors strive to assist the CEP in fulfilling our mission to be a catalyst for a prosperous community by exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism, a positive attitude, knowledge, and integrity to our partners and the business community.
Ambassadors fill an essential role in the CEP by calling and visiting other CEP partners, attending monthly meetings, attending ribbon cuttings, recruiting other ambassadors, having a suggested business become a CEP partner, and participating in CEP initiatives.
Why become a CEP Ambassador?
Ambassadors are highly visible CEP partners. The exposure through ambassadorship provides great opportunities to promote your business, build stronger community relationships and knowledge, meet new partners, establish business contacts, build friendships and focus on exercising your networking skills and abilities. The CEP is very proud of the Ambassadors and provides a great deal of recognition of them throughout the year in various publications and at events.
