Alarion Bank Announces New President and Chief Executive Officer

Posted on: October 01, 2013

Hart brings nearly 40 years of banking experience to the role, with a successful track record in leading residential and commercial lending teams. Since joining Alarion in 2010, he has played an integral part in the strategic expansion of the Bank’s residential department, as well as bringing a balanced approach to Bank operations and production teams.

“Dwight has been proven to be a tremendous asset to Alarion Bank,” said Job White, Alarion Bank Board Chairman. “He has contributed heavily to our success in tough economic times, and I have every confidence that the organization will thrive under his leadership.”
Hart, a native Floridian, currently resides in Gainesville, with his wife Carol. He is a member of the Gainesville Quarterback Club, Florida Bankers Association, and the Homebuilders Association of Florida.

Mr. Hart’s appointment has received state and federal regulatory approvals, and is effective as of October 1, 2013.  His predecessors, Jon Kurtz and Loralee Hutchinson, remain actively involved in the organization as board members. Additionally, Mrs. Hutchinson will assume the role of President and CEO of Alarion Financial Services Inc., the Bank’s holding company.
