Ocala, FL (August 22, 2013) – In celebration of the opening of Les Miserables, La Cuisine French Restaurant will host An Evening in Paris, an exclusive private dinner to benefit Ocala Civic Theatre, on Sunday, September 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Winner of two coveted Golden Spoon Awards, La Cuisine is a charming bistro in the heart of downtown Ocala, renowned for its authentic French cuisine and elegant ambiance. The restaurant will be closed to all other patrons for the event, and seating is limited for this intimate dinner.

The chefs of La Cuisine have created a select menu especially for An Evening in Paris. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres of Pate du Chef (chef’s homemade paté) and Tartare de Crevettes (shrimp marinated in citrus juices and olive oil with tomatoes, shallots, sweet peppers, and cilantro). Your choice of entrée is Filet de Porc a la Moutarde (roasted pork tenderloin in a grainy mustard sauce) or Poulet Dodine (chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce). Each dish is served with Haricots Verts (green beans) and Pommes de Terre au Gratin (potatoes in a cheese sauce). Your choice of dessert is Tarte aux Fruits Frais (fresh fruit tart), Mousse au Chocolat (chocolate mousse), or Flan au Café (coffee flan).

Wine selections included with dinner are Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. A cash bar will be available for other wines and cocktails. Live musical entertainment will accompany dinner, with a special appearance by members of the cast of Les Miserables.
