The GDP of the Ocala MSA grew 2.5 times faster than the national average

The GDP of the Ocala MSA grew 2.5 times faster than the national average according to a recent report from the US Department of Commerce. The economy of the Ocala MSA grew by 5.7% from 2013-2014 compared to the national average of 2.3%.

This follows a report from the US Conference of Mayors earlier this summer which predicted the Ocala MSA would be one of the 10 fastest growing economies in 2016.
