Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership Accepting   Applications for Ocala/Marion County Leadership Class XXIX


Ocala, Florida (April 29, 2015)—Applications for Leadership Ocala Marion Class XXIX are now being accepted. This leadership initiative has allowed more than 1,000 area business professionals and community leaders to increase their awareness and advocacy for major facets of our community since its inception.
Beginning in 1986, Leadership Ocala Marion County (LOM) program has continued to immerse its class members in key civic areas including: economic development, public safety, education, culture, health, the environment and social services. Through tours, education sessions, hands-on learning and personal interaction with our community’s leaders, class participants gain a unique behind-the-scenes look at the pulse of our community. The LOM experience heightens participants’ awareness of Ocala/Marion County’s issues, challenges and opportunities; sharpens their leadership skills and increases their involvement in civic life.

The Ocala/Marion County Chamber and Economic Partnership was created to be a one-stop hub for the community’s business attraction, creation and retention efforts.
