ELO is now Young Professionals Ocala!
The Emerging Leaders of Ocala unveiled a new name and logo at their Masquerade Ball on 30 May at Golden Ocala. The CEP's nine-year initiative for young professionals decided to adopt the more recognizable Young Professionals Ocala brand.
Emerging Leaders Ocala (ELO) is now Young Professionals Ocala (YPO). In an announcement made during their annual member appreciation and recruitment event, YPO Chairman Ben Bowman unveiled the new name and logo. Bowman explained that the new name better describes the purpose and mission of the group. Members of YPO have already emerged as leaders within our community representing this demographic. As we continue to recruit and develop younger leaders to our community, Young Professionals Ocala better identifies who we represent and who we intend to be.
More than 225 young professionals attended the Masquerade Ball hosted by Golden Ocala. This annual event was coordinated by the YPO Networking Committee Chair, Stacey Rollins, and the YPO Board of Regents. Event sponsors also included What’s Up Productions, Ocala Chiropractic and Wellness, Webster University, Duggan, Joiner, & Co. CPA’s, and Party Time Rentals. Tri-Eagle Sales is the presenting sponsor of YPO.
