Coates Golf Announces the Location of Headquarters in Ocala

Coates Golf locates headquarters and manufacturing facility in Ocala
Ocala, Florida (January 14, 2015) – Coates Golf will establish their headquarters and manufacturing/assembly facility in Ocala, Florida. This company will manufacture high performance golf clubs specifically designed for women. The establishment of this facility will create 45 new jobs with an average wage which is 140% of the Marion County average wage. Coates Golf and the Coates Golf Championship represents an investment well in excess of $15 million.

Today we are celebrating the establishment of Coates’ headquarters in Ocala and the creation of 45 new jobs. Coates Golf is the title sponsor of the LPGA Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers, which will be held at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club on January 26-31, 2015. They have secured a commitment with the LPGA to hold the event at Golden Ocala for the next three years. This event is the inaugural LPGA event for 2015, and is one of only two LPGA events held in Florida during the 2015 season.
The event is expected to draw more than 60,000 spectators during the week of the tournament.
