Belleview High Student Wins Business Plan Competition

Chaffin’s winning business plan is entitled “Millennial in a Minute” and proposes a mobile and web application which would connect tech-savvy millennials to less tech-savvy seniors – allowing the millennials to sell technology assistance to the seniors in “tutoring” settings.
Chaffin’s first place win is valued at over $3,500. This includes $2,000 in cash, a 1 year CEP Partnership, a 1 year Affiliate Membership at the Power Plant Business Incubator, and his photo on the cover of a future CEP Partner Connections magazine.

2nd Place – Eventurous Planning (Event Planning) -- $1,000 Cash Prize

3rd Place – Clockwork Transit (Logistics) -- $500 Cash Prize

4th Place – Brionna’s Bomb Bow Making (Apparel)
Student: Brionna Lassiter
5th Place – La Familia (Music Production Studio)
Students: Raven Cannizzo, Damien Fraser, Zantavia Williams, Jeremiah Napoleoni, Darius Johnson
The competition was made possible by two CEP Partners: Taylor College & OC LAO Inc.

The evening’s Final Round event was held at Community Technical & Adult Education (CTAE) in Ocala, in the Brewster Banquet Hall.
