SCORE and the Ocala Power Plant Business Incubator want to help entrepreneurs succeed. A structured a series of workshops has been designed to assist first-time small business owners in making sound, informed decisions on their road to success.
The SCORE program is a comprehensive series of 4 three-hour workshops designed to help attendees get ready to launch a new business. Experts will take students through the key aspects of starting a new venture:
• The concepts involved with assessing a business idea
• Marketing your product or service,
• Understanding business financials and how they work
• How to fund and finance your business
Each workshop is interactive with examples, supporting resources, and take-away assignments. SCORE mentors and Power Plant Incubator representatives will attend and be available to work with attendees outside of class.
The workshops will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on 4 successive Tuesday evenings (January 21, January 28, February 4, and February 11) at the Ocala Power Plant Business Incubator located at 405 SE Osceola Avenue, Ocala, FL 34471.
The total price for all 4 workshops is $95, or $75 for current incubator residents or CEP partners. Alternatively, students may register for individual workshops at a price of $30 each.
